I usually use the A13 which has a better road surface than the A12, and plus I bought that helmet with the Harley in mind, its also too big, I suspect the linings worn a bit on it and lost its strength.
I have another helmet which is a lot tighter, so I rekon I'll get away with that one
I thought I had giving it away but I found it in the garage when I got him
Yes the A12 is a sh1t surface, but I doubt that has much if anything to do with your sore neck! Any lid will get a bit baggy over time as the lining compresses. If it's the wrong size to big, personally I wouldn't ware it!
Apart from the sore neck, was your journey home more relaxed with the new CCT's?
R/R next get that fitted asap for double protection......

Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Yeah I wasnt paranoid about the engine going BANG!.
I'm going to send the Carbs off tomorrow and then get the stuff I need, I saw how carl wired up his, and vaguely remember the order, is it the same on R1 RR or is there a diagram on here? I did a search but didnt find anything.

Chris.
Mine was a day short of being on the road, and I had a lot of tools to take, so was in the car.
Otherwise there would have been a yellow one.....
It's all running now, though.
Got it sorted Sunday afternoon.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I totally agree.

If you want a hand with that Stormin, I got all the terminals/tools etc. Still not found my multimeter though I still need to re-do mine, solder etc, make things more tidy, so we could do them both at the same time. Just PM me, I don't mind popping over at some stage!

No photo of the yellow one it was just to slow to get in the shot in time sorry Styler i hope u have got it running ok
StormingHonda is posting his spare carbs to me to test. Tony thinks the diaphragms are possible split or a main jet is blocked. With start and run on choke and on tick over with no choke when warm. Very very slow throttle movement will increase the revs but twist it normally and it will fought and fart and most of the time stall.
Will post results next weekend...
Styler
Cor blimey Styler, your having a real run of bad luck at the moment mate. Sorry your day was spoilt.
It will be interesting to see what the Stormin carbs do. So are you intending on stripping the old ones, or just replace the carbs? They seem to average about £60 - £80 on ebay for a good seconhand set.
