Rearsets
Re: Rearsets
if anyone has a set of these sat around somewhere i would love to model them up in CAD and get prices on them to see if i can get them cheaper than insane money??
Re: Rearsets
Karlos I think you are pitching this at the wrong time of year fella. Anyone who has any posh rear sets has them fitted and is using the bike, they are also the people least likely to benefit from your offer, as they already own a nice upgrade. If you can't find anything then try again come Autumn when bikes may be laid up for the wetter season.
Alternatively how about a syndicate to club in and buy a set (probably Gilles as they are still available). You make replicas and the members get them discounted. The originals could be offered to the syndicate or sold elsewhere to recap some of the cash.
Just an idea.

Re: Rearsets
You summed that up well Kev, my Gilles ones arent coming off my bike during the riding season.
Perhaps if there is a real bad winter coming up there will be time to take them off and get them sent out and back. But given that there wasn't a month that I didn't use the bike last yr, I wouldn't hold your breath

Re: Rearsets
I someone could engineer some VTR to say CBR type adaptors - then we could fit our own rests/jack up kits/rear sets etc...thumperslaw wrote:Am going to be copying my Gilles rear sets on the cnc when I get time.
