Nice Gardai(police)

Post by Funkybus72 »

Just when my attitude towards the Gardai (Irish Police) was at a all time low, I was pulled over by a Blask Avensis at Loughlinstown Tiger power wash. "turn her off there lad" said mister Garda. "Whats the speed limit here" eh 40? I replied. "try again" ehhhhh 30? I said "yeah not 72" oops I sighed "do you have your licence?" yup."Now do you have an that isn't 6 months outa date?" SHITE. " and that reg plate....too small and not even a Euro plate".. Oh just lock me up and get it over with!!!!!!!! but to my suprise he said "just a caution this time......and ehhhhh... nice bike. see ya. I LOVE LUCKY DAYS.

Lucky sod!

Heard a story this morning about a chap that broke the limit, crossed a continuous white line to pass out a slow driver, then broke the next red light. Was pulled by the speedycop (who was driving behind him!) but was let off with a warning because the copper didn't have a pen to write the summons!!

Incidentially, I drive that stretch of road twice a day, where did you get pulled?? Heading Southbound I take it?
Out of my way or I'll eat the lot of ye!!

Yeah I had just pulled into the garage to get juice and he pulled up beside me. He had followed me from the traffic lights at Johnstone Ave to the garage. I had to tell him he was without question the nicest Garda I had ever met. Lick lick.
