Ideally I want to ensure they stay in place and do the job they intended for should the unthinkable occur, and the bike goes down the road. Be nice if there was something that would release with a little encouragement.

The clutch cover one should at least be sealed around the oil filler neck area with silicon sealer, as any spilled oil will rot the sticky pads.

I just used silicon all over; it's never shown any signs of moving.

Wouldn't want to try to lever it off without breaking it, though.

If you get an alternator one without the two small holes in, for the inspection hole and the central one; you'll need to remove it whenever you want to do the valve clearances, or fit replacement CCT's.

Thanks for the input Tony but these are the frame covers. I have them mounted with double sided tape at the moment but if that is considered inappropriate I will change it in the near future.

Hey KevL where did your front mudguard come from that would look sooo good on my black bike with scorpion carbon cans?

It came from a firm in London mate, exra-tech off of E Bay. They don't have one listed at the moment. Just remember my front forks are from a 954 Blade, so the guard is for the 929/954 & SP1/2.

Yeh, take it when it's painted and leave it once it's carbon wrapped
