Went to do a bit of prep for tomorrows run to Brands Hatch.

Lube chain check tension wipe the flies off that sort of thing.

Found that the left hand link pipe had come loose & was free of the header! 8O

The clamp nut was tight so must of knocked it off somehow when moving it about. Anyway refitted it tightened up the clamp & the bolt thread stripped! DOH!

Had some spare clamps in stock so changed the nut & bolt over seems ok now.

Good job I checked it out today & didn't find it like that in the morning!

All I've done is ridden it round the block a few times, but that was officially very naughty, but justifiable because how else am I supposed to do an pre-MOT test and check my new visor didn't whistle, and, ummm, oh f*ck it, it was sunny!

I do feel guilty... honest :shh:

went out for a ride to visit some friends, almost got knocked off by white van man who decided to pull over to my lane (outside lane on a duel carriageway) without checking his mirrors whilst i was level with his drivers door :x :x :x
i must have a target on my back, its not as if you can't hear my bike or as if i'm tiny and can't be seen easily, tbh it shock me up it was that close, i have the upmost respect for motorbike couriers riding in central london, these idiots behind the wheel just don't look anymore
anyway the rest of the ride was ok considring it was in the london suburbs and i still love the sound of my exhausts when i go thru a tunnel :D
ride safe everyone

Didn't you say the case against the guy that knocked you off before is still in progress? Did you get a look at the driver? There isn't a hit out on you amongst WVM's is there? Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean their not out to get you...
