Got from ebay.de about 4 years ago, seen a few other storms with them on.

Don't think they do them any more:roll:

Stripped the swinging arm and linkages. Cleaned everything inc chain and fitted grease nipples.
Refitted and lubed up.

Been meaning to do it for years.

Fitted taper head bearings.

Took forks off and did the damper mod then serviced and painted them. They were very scabby.

Stripped and painted rusty fairing bracket now looks sweet.

Put brakes back together with new Brembo sintered pads £11 bargain. Also fitted goodridge hoses.

I cant believe how well the forks and brake have turned out.

Just need to test ride it now.

Looks sweet. What did you do to reveal the Nissin logo, or did you over paint it with silver?

IIRC the rear of the caliper is painted and its only the front of the caliper that has the Nissin logo unpainted?

just use a fine file or some wet & dry on a flat surface and rub the caliper to remove the paint from the raised lettering

Once we get a bit of " Harley " riding weather I want to do the same with my Firestorm, it really is in need of a clean up.
