Service Check list
I have the official workshop manual and haynes manual for the Firestorm, I was thinking of doing myself service sheets, with checklist, list of consumables and notes, tick boxes etc, so if you do home servicing you can attack reciepts to it and bung it in a book, it will look pretty good and will maybe help with selling the bike that even if its been home serviced that stuff has been done on it.
Would this help anyone?.
If so I will work on it and maybe someone could proof read and make changes as required.

Re: Service Check list
I'm up for that
as it goes I keep all reciepts and stuff in with my log book folder, and what a mess that is.
If you want me to proof read I can do that, whatever help you may need. How was you intending on doing it and what software are you going to use? I assume it will be digital!
I think it's a good idea and then stick pdf's up on here for people to download.
Lets see where this thread leads

I think a final version to go on adobe.
its going to be all service intervals.
Im think of also adding torque settings for sump etc, I do like my torque settings.

Re: Service Check list
Great idea,
Hate having to open the manual looking for this type of info in the middle of a service.
Glad to hear you like your nuts tightened correctly

Re: Service Check list
Sounds like it could be a handy document.....anything that puts all the relevant information in one place can only make things easier.

Re: Service Check list
You might be lucky and whoever you host your images with will allow documents. Either that or you best bet is a free online filesharing service like Rapidshare https://rapidshare.com/ or Mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/ Fileservers are usually free to join and free with slow downloadw with a non instant (60 secs wait) download for users. They make money by offering an Instant fast download service and advertisements.
Well done mate that was fast. Looking forward to see how it all looks.
Have Fun

Re: Service Check list
Try this
https://rapidshare.com/files/1113268038 ... _miles.pdf
This is the basic service I wll use it to build on the 6,8,10,12 etc.
Most people will only use the 6 and 12 K servicing intervals but ill do them all.

Do you need an account to be downloaded?
If you need anything hosting I can put it on a server at work if it helps
