CLUTCH SLIPS AT HIGH REVS ONLY

Hi people!

i have a slight problem with my clutch! it slips at high revs but is fine punching through the lower revs!!
do i need new clutch plates or could there be another soloution! iv bled the resiviour to the slave so i dont no what else it could be! Any ideas???? answers on a postcard!

mine is also doing the same 7k onwards

I think it's the clutch fiber plates wearing out :confused

yea that sounds about right! have you replaced yet? think i may order some tonight and see what happens!

engine oil change before you start fkin about with the clutch ;)
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

changed oil and filter about 6 weeks ago!

Did you use a new brand of oil? fully synth and also halfords own brand semi make my clutch slip

Done mine two days ago with semi good oil. Still does it

i used silkoline super four semi synth! its what i was advised to use! im still thinking its the friction plates!
bollox to it im gona order some!

I am having exactly the same problem. Need to get around to changing the plates as well

Some times you can get away with sanding the steel plates to get rid of the "blue" on them. Helping some times
