would this affect performance at all fitted new one this morning and bike seem a little more responsive ? also stop for a coffee then started her she ticked over then spluttered a bit and i heard a loud clunk metal to metal almost but they she kept going rode home fine?

when i fitted a working r/r i had to lower my tick over as it was revving at 2300 with the new one .
starts lots faster to

very occasionally mine does that clunk and i really really wish it did,nt. what is it?

wish i knew mate will do it if im trying to start her after she has sat for a week or so not all the time but occasionally

Thank god for that, I've only just begun to hear that on my storm and only after having done the cct's. I thought I'd f**ked it up. Who knows what it is?
Surely Tony has an idea about the cause?
