I have to admit to having almost virgin knee sliders on my summer trousers. I got them free with a set of tyres. The only time I skuffed them was pushing my FireStorm into the shed and make a nice scrape along my body work!!
I keep them on as armour more than anything else and I have to admint that I don't seem to get the bike far over enough to scrape the pegs never mind getting my knee down

ART Cans
Bloody hell you lot, I was only asking about re-jetting the carbs or not and now were on to killing all those superbike W&^kers !!!!
Al, got a K&N filter fitted as well. Used to build car engines so got a bit of car engine knowledge but bikes r a bit different.
Had a look at the pipes as suggested, black and sooty. Bike runs alot better on ART Cans. Gunning it on the twisties I get 100-110 before reserve. Town commuting in the same. On the long 95mph 131 mile run I got 44mpg !
From what you are saying by simply putting end cans on, without the rest of the pipes changing, I wont need to re-jet ....... trust this is correct.
By the way,
3. All superbike riders have matching leathers, helmet and cloves and its ALWAYS the best of the BEST.
4. They don't go out in the rain, never ever ever never !
5. The tread on the rear tyre is only worn in the middle even though they've got supa sticky corsa sticky supa sticky, did I say sticky tyres, oh yeah the sticky ones!!!! they can't go round bends !
Cheers

you shouldnt really have to rejet just with changing out your stock cans for race ones
& your fuel consumption looks alright for a storm,
as when pushed hard they dont half drink the go juice,
but on longer runs when mostly rolling on & off the throttle or
just running in top gear for ages bring the consumption down
i dont half notice the difference with the bigger tank model i can run as far as most cbrs, r6, etc, before filling up again.
oh yea, posers are always name dropping,
when i met foggy, jamie whitam, etc, bla, bla, bla
