The blade has a 190 rear and the storms 180 as standard, like the 180 so not tried the 190 yet

With a tyre off the rim will the blades be a wider rim being 190 section rear tyre as standard?

If you hypothetically crashed the bike and was found to have a tyre size not recommended by the manufacturer on the rear would you be covered?

8O I got a mate who works in my local tyre bay to fit a 180 to a bandit 600 and max size recomend 160 at a push   was flat and sqaure but looked cool as for corners dont ask  ,a few members on here have them fitted so no problems fitting a 190 ,plus I dont intend to come off
:shh: I hope

If the oversize tire got in a tangle with a hugger then they might notice at an inspection.

I know a few that have and seen a few, but would probably wana try one out before i bought one as once you have it you have it an stuck with it sorta thing

i know no one plans an off, and thankfully I've never had an incident with a car or other, just if you did and was found to have those fitted would your claim be dismissed? would you have to pay damages to the other person's car bike etc etc

Aye well these Dunlop sportsmart's are a lump smaller width than the old Sportsmax D208 etc. About 10mm so really need a 190 to stay the same.

i wouldnt say the width is any different between the newer one and the older one, mines 180 and its just clearing the hugger any bigger and my hugger would be toast, the only tyre that has a crap profile is the pirelli corsa 180 looks more like 160,also depending on how you ride your bike a 190 wont steer into the corners as good as a 180,the only thing you get by fitting a 190 is it looks better
this is my 2pence worth, other people will think differently

nice one mate. who,s fitting them? i think chris self charges 6 pound per wheel if you take them in.
