....Just need to keep working in order to pay for the trip !!
Fed up with everything being negative. Being Self employed is sh1t nowadays, and I needed a little carrot dangling in front of me, Don't even know for sure if I'll definately be able to afford it, but screw it, you only live once.
This is the plan....All mileages are approx, but fairly close.
Depart July 10..Ride to Dijon. Northern France is the boring bit, so its a big mileage day for day one( about 400 miles ). After this I stay away from the motorways as much as poss.
July 11...Dijon-Aosta ( just through the Mont Blanc Tunnel ) 225 miles.
July 12...Aosta - La Spezia. 220 miles.
July 13..La Spezia - Mugello. 110 Miles/ or who knows if the scenic route is taken ( which it will be !! ), Max 200 Miles.
2 Days thereafter relaxing, watching the racing, drinking beer , then 4 days riding home.
Cant wait , fingers crossed

Sounds good, watch the tunnel though, sometimes there's a camera near the entrance, never seen one in the tunnel so you can enjoy the vtwin rumble! See how many cars have their windows down listening to it!!

Re: The Ferry is booked....
Did a similar trip 3 years ago, but stopped just across the Italian Border on the med. It seems that Mugello Moto gp is a crazy weekend and what better excuse to make a decent trip of it. Got to figure out the route back, but I think the Nurburgring might be on the cards.

Been there, done that. In fact there's been a couple of forum runs to Mugello. Top place.
