Anyone had a decibel reading with microns fitted? Doing the bikesafe/track day at castle combe in June and there's the usual limits

Re: Noise levels
I can't really help you with this one...what I will say though is that even if the same bike has the same exhausts fitted it will either be a touch louder or a touch quieter...no idea why lol
Only a few DB though...I realise this may be what gets you on track and what stops you though so I thought I better mention it

A head full of fears has no room for dreams
Re: Noise levels
I'll probably just head over to the track one day before hand as they will test it for you prior to the event, its only a few miles up the road

Re: Noise levels
Or get yourself a retro nokia for a fiver off ebay with a db meter built in
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: Noise levels
You can download an app for the iPhone or Android phones, it's not that far off either
Re: Noise levels
I had to fit standard cans for a Brands trackday last year and the intake was louder then the exhausts- and he still said it was a bit loud.....

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
