metal polishing addiction

Post by masterdave »

i think i have become addicted to polishing metal, so far ive done the headstock, rearsets, levers, front brake calipers, im doing the swinging arm, rear caliper, rear footrest hangers. but my addiction stops at the frame, im not that sad lol. i do it all my hand with wet and dry, and then metal polish, none of this buffing shizzle
does anyone else share this addiction?

I have a polishing fetish, get satisfaction from doing it. What else you going to do on a Sunday afternoon other than polish.

Autosol from my experience is only any good when you use mechanical polisher, otherwise by hand it’s too aggressive, you need to get the active ingredients working and hand polishing does not do it.

I use Maguire’s Nxt Generation All Metal Polish to keep on top of the polished bits
