Fuel tank upgrade

Ok, I hav'nt got the bike yet but looking at next week. But i was wondering. I believe a 2001 storm comes with a 16ltr tank but i have heard you cab convert this or replace it to a 19 ltr. i hav e couple of questions for you, can you keep it simple as i am far from technical....

1 is it possible
2 is it easy
3 is it cheap
4 is it worth the hassle for 3 ltrs.

Cheep no
Worthwhile !
The hardest part is finding a 19l tank at a good price .
They seem to be harder to find than hens teeth

Re worthwhile- depends if it bothers you.

For myself I can live with it, but if you regularly ride out with other bikes then they will notice that you need to stop for fuel before they do.

On the other hand, an hour in the saddle is long enough, and a short refuel gives you the chance to stretch your legs anyway.....

The extra 3l is nice, but won't make much of a difference; you will still have to stop before your mates.

Ride out with other Storm owners- that way everyone has to stop together!

i found a hens tooth just before xmas, it cost me Â£66 delivered to my door..........

thanks for the advice, i think it be best if i just ride with storm owners, anyway if your all like me the fuel consuption will be fine. i go everywhere at 30 and weigh 6 stone...
