Clutch chatter

Post by baz »

Hi i'm wondering if anybody can help me? I've just bought my first Firestorm and the clutch chatters on tickover. It stops when i pull the clutch in is this normal??? Love the bike though should have bought one years ago. It's a 97 model by the way.

Noisy clutches are often caused by out of balance carbs. The Firestorm carbs need to be balanced regularly anyway, so I'd check that first.

Yum! :D Dyno run
give it the juice it deserves
Ask the bloke about the clutch whilst you are there.....i'll bet he says it's quite normal and most bikes do it after they've done a few miles and don't worry about it
