New bike finally here!

Ordered 6 weeks ago, finally arrived Thursday. Have got to say I'm very impressed so far.

Hope it's more reliable than the Firestorm, it's let me down twice in 10 years. (Battery both times

)

'Storms still going to get plenty of use, though mainly for commuting.

Really? I bet you don't even know what it is!

I love my Firestorm so I'm keeping it, but the Griso has attracted more interest in a week than the Firestorm has in 10 years.

It goes pretty well and handles ok too

It's like a factory manufactured streetfighter with the size of that lump.

It would be nice to see a side on profile pic of her. Brembo brakes look cool and British Racingish Green,

Same bike but 1200 instead of 1100 and 8 valves instead of 4. Most powerful production engine MG have ever made.

As I've said, love the Firestorm and I'm keeping it, but that is one sexy bike. Performance wise very similiar to the Firestorm, but completely different to ride.

I wasn't looking for a new bike, just happened to be browsing Moto Guzzi's and saw this, loved it at first sight, read a load of reviews (none bad!) and was in love. Had a go on a demonstrator and loved it. It's definitely no Grandad bike, still running it in but it goes well and handles beautifully. Sounds great! How the hell do Italian bikes get around sounding so lound?

Guzzi's got me into bikes (sort of). My dad had some clapped out old thing, loved the sound. He then went and got a Jawa 350 and almost put me off!!

V nice and distinct.

I must say I do like the old guzzi's. I have never owned one but for some reason I think I would like to make a cafe racer out of one. Would be a bit different from the run of the mill Honda,Suzuki or Kwak ones out there.
