Need to get to grips with suspension and have my rear shock pre-load set in the middle. Styler reckons set on the softest setting to start with. prblem is - lost the c- spanner I had and no idea if it was the right size anyway. What size do i need to get and are the "universal" ones exactly that?

Universal ones have a hinge, so fit quite a large range of shock adjuster ring sizes.
You need two to adjust and set the headstock bearings, by the way. So if they're cheap enough....
