But you don't need to go fast fast, just fast enough to stay in front.

i would imagine a bike with big boost would be a bitch to ride in anything other than a straight line, imagine that boost coming on out the corner before its properly straight and stood up, see you on the other side of the hedge

Should be ok, if it's fuelled correctly.
At low boost, tickover up to three or so, it should feel fairly normal, but once you get it opened up it will just pull and pull.

You'd have to be pretty quick on gearchanges.

Most reviews of turbo'd bikes say they're easy to ride normally if you want to, but deliver more then standard if you choose.

Throttle works both ways, and I suppose that a 125 rider, or someone with less experience would say the same about the power a Storm produces. But you only ask for it when you feel you can handle it.

Just my 2p worth as so few people have had the chance to ride a turbo.
A friends Gpz750 turbo was very docile, UNTIL the Sheez, that was good moment :eek2

It was an experience. Only after I rode it did he tell me that the wastegate had rusted shut and it was fairly non standard anyway. I cant remember the details of what had been done to it but it was totally unremarkable until the boost came in and it flew, a bit like having two bikes in one. He was used to it so could keep it contained but he did say it had been a "short but steep learning curve"

I have heard that due to the engines pulses a V twin is the worst engine to turbo, for the turbos longevity, an Il4 having more regular pulses, dunno though. Seem to remember reading that Honda turboed the CX650 simply because it was so difficult to get right. Also that they lost money on every one sold as it was so complex, again dunno could be magazine twaddle.
