Note to self...

Post by tankslappa »

When it's been raining we all know to ride a bit more cautiously, but I'd forgotten something as I toddled down the road at 35mph with the visor up this evening...

The damn bugs swarm when it's moist!

They don't taste nice!

The rape seed bee splats don't show up as much on a yellow one, either.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Indeed Tony!

My hoards of special trained "custard bugs" will soon turn all bikes to the holy yellow.

Muwahahahahaha!

isnt that an oxymoron? A yellow one getting a shift on? Did you mean to type "A yellow one is a shite one"?

I walked in from a ride tonight to find the Mrs watching that embarrasing bodies live programme. There was a woman on there describing how it took her an hour and a half to curl out a 9" long turd with a girth of 7.5"!
Who says quality TV programming is dead. There was also some yellow turds and quite a lot of red ( )
Not pleasant.
The ride, however was about perfect. Beautiful evening and cool enough to be comfortable in leathers. Love it.

The only bugs that bug me are the buzzing stinging ones when they get caught inside your lid. It brings back memories of a film I watched (can't remember name) where the bug crawled inside the ear passage and grew inside the human host body.

And not only that it's distracting and dangerous.

What a lovely conversation!

I can relate to the stripy things inside your lid though. Had one of them as 70mph+ once. I have never stopped so fast in my life.

Only to find it wasn't actually a wasp, just one of those fake flies.

Damn hard to tell when it's sitting on your cheek just under your eye!
