Re: Clutch Replacement
best way m8 - what i do anyway.... blue hylomar on one side of the gasket, smear of grease on the other... it will seal bob on and if you do end up having to pop it off in the near future it will come away intact without damaging the gasket ;)
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: Clutch Replacement
Does that basket look OK, I don't know if that's the norm for a storm as I have not had one off yet.

Re: Clutch Replacement
The centre nut should be "twatted", that is to make sure that nut never comes undone when riding. They come from the factory like that

yep, of course, alternative to cotter/split pin.The centre nut should be "twatted", that is to make sure that nut never comes undone when riding. They come from the factory like that

Not the centre nut, I'm referring to outside circumference of the clutch centre. Why is it not round.

Maybe that's exactly as it looks on storms or the angle of pic. Anyway can't be that distorted otherwise Seb would not have got the plates on.

Re: Clutch Replacement
it is round mate i just think its an illusion on the photo because of the inside of it sweeps in at either side you can see an even gap around the plates herecybercarl wrote:yep, of course, alternative to cotter/split pin.The centre nut should be "twatted", that is to make sure that nut never comes undone when riding.
