opitmistic top speed

Post by agentpineapple »

just been reading this ebay advert for a storm, now i understand owners of red bikes are deluded when it comes to how fast their bikes are, but scroll to the bottom of the advert and you will see for yourselfs, hahahaha i didn't think the top speed gentlemans agreement would ever have bothered the humble firestorm.
i'd love to know what sprockets or rockets he has on the bike

Wouldnt matter wind resistance or not, gearing and engine speed can only produce so much. Most I've ever had my clocks reading is 160mph. Apparently if you hang on to the very last bit of 5th gear, then snick 6th, buried behind screen, they'll read more.

Most I had my cbr1000rr showing was 179..... SP1, 174...... CB1300 155......C90 55 !!
