This weather is absolute naff. Best day this weekend for a bike ride is Sunday. Reckon I'll do a run to Cat & Fiddle.

Sun is shining. Roads are dry. It's not a scorcher but it's pleasant

Happily, it didn't start raining here until 17.00, because I lent my disco lights to a friend of my daughters for an 18th birthday party and they were out in the garden all night.
Even got the lawn mowed lunchtime, nearest I got to a petrol engine all weekend, though....

bejeezus - the rain! Plan was to take the afternoon off, go to HG and get a roll bag for this weekend having enjoyed a nice ride, back for the footy. So, rain determined took the M1 to Luton, accident, traffic, torrential rain and old Spada textiles meant got a soaking.

Take the positives, today is last day of their 60% off sale, so two piece waterproof oversuit for £18, mini roll bags £6 and a 40L tough roll bag £10 meant came back happy and no wetter. BTW RST Paragon boots I got a couple of weeks ago were 100% watertight after nearly two hours in the stuff. Car fire was the fun on the way back causing mayhem
