Does anyone knows if they insure the bike as soon as you pay the premium or do they need to get copy of driving license before issuying a certificate
I'm asking that as I might bring back a storm this saturday and it is my first bike since few years.
Cheers

If yours need a copy of the license, just scan and email it to them.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Spooky, I've recently been in exactly the same boat and with H&R too. I phoned them after taking out policy online, they old me cover started immediately unless you post date the cover.

Be aware though because you may be insured but not as yet on the database so will be open for a tug from the old bill as it will come up on ANPR. Carry your cover note/internet print out or some proof of insurance.
I usually wait until it's registered on the database http://ownvehicle.askmid.com/
Have Fun.
