Tonight's rain, Thursday night

OMG ive never ever seen rain like that, one of the few times i was genuinely scared for life on the bike, the wind and rain was so fierce on the motorway that people in cars was ditching and stopping on the hard shoulder

Not only was the motorway like an Olympic swimming pool the wind was horrendous trying to rip me off the bike and into other lanes

Ended up hanging down the left side of the bike trying to get as low as i could to get out the wind blast and keep the bike weighted

Hope anyone else caught out in it was okay!

I suspect Wales will be three feet under again by the morning?

Just seen forecast, Grain and the south east is gonna be the only dry part of the UK tomorrow. Flood warnings for up north and Midlands.

Not nice riding conditions that Seb, bloody dangerous. Sometimes it's better to pull into services and wait it out for a quieter patch. If cars are pulling over because of it, then it's time to consider it oneself.

but no fun on the bike, although I did see a hardy biker on a c90 overtaking all the straggling traffic
