First off i got a nice Penske rear shock at a very good price for my XJ600 race bike, it's for an R6 but got it fitted and it's now off being resprung and serviced, Then yesterday i saw on ebay a Penske for the firestorm
It looked well manky but the suspension guy i'm using said he could make it like new. It was a bit overpriced so I rang up the seller and made an offer, So now i'm all Pensked up, result 
I'll order some racetech springs and that'll be the end of the CRAP std suspension, good ridence 
Next on list will be a decent pair of low level cans,there's just non about lately
