Glad it's sorted mate. Just to throw another fly into the ointment, I have read elsewhere that you could quite feasibly buy a late model coloured tank with the wings on it and quite realisticly beieve you have a 19l tank, however the American market evidently never got the 19l tank, there's were all 16l, even after the facelift, although they had all the later colours and decals.
So any breaker/private seller who imports the tank could quite easily assume and advertise it as the larger capacity.

sh1t, that's a bummer Lee :( Still glad you managed to get it sorted with the seller. I must double check the tank I bought. I'm positive it's a 16l, but never knew how similar they are from the outside. I must check the underside more closely.

Yeah well, could have been worse. I might just go buy one of those small ( 2 Litre I think ) fuel can thingy's and keep that to hand if I go away. Then again, soon as I do that 17 big tanks will appear on the bay for £20 each

ferking wonker. I specifically double checked with the bloke as well. Just emailed him to see what he's gonna do about it.
Mate I look ALL the time on Ebay for a 19L tank and havent seen one for love nor money, which is whay I was utterly gutted and supprised you got one on there I have been watching EBay like a hawk, and if you get someone bidding like mad to get it, thats gonna be me  , there however was a guy saying he had a 19L tank for sale and I was 99% sure it wasnt but he rekons it was.

If its the same guy I dont think he knew what he had.
