Re: bike hire icmeler turkey
Dont hire fek all out there mate ,they will have ya pants down when ya return it,
roads are lethal in the wet ,polished tarmac with the heat,
lorrys ,vans n cars are mental.
any side of the road will do ,pot holes huge, side of roads no kerbs ,loadsa gravel n rocks.
not many bikes in turkey as goverment taxes are huge on m/c,s.
ya need to be rich or from the dark side to own them.
if ya paid £10000 for fireblade you have to pay the goverment another £10000 in tax.
stick to a massage n a turkish shave,(defo have ya pants of for the massage ,in a nice way)
enjoy ya hols mate

Hisarounu / oludinez is a vice nice area, there are some fantastic mountains there and lots of trail bikes to rent for the day or for a week etc, get one you won't regret a trip into the mountains, don't know where the other guy has been in Turkey but where I went the roads are very good in that region you can also nip across to Greece as well via the boat

be careful if popping over to greece, Turky and greece are not good friends and will some times refuse you re-entry if they know you have been over to see them.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Hi
I rented a 650 trailie for a couple of days.
Road from Mamaris down to mountains around Turunc ,Stunning views,
Every hair pin had to be taken bloody careful ,due to the mental lorry ,taxi drivers ,who use all of the road.
the side off the roads had big rocks at the side of them ,sort of a home made rumble strip.
On returning the bike ,owner ripped me off ,saying it needed a new chain,.
chain only needed adjusting ,he wanted £150 to replace it .
Ended up paying £75 when his large mates appeared at the shop.
Having watched midnight express my common sense mode kicked in .
much better a hole in my wallet than my back door.
I do like an adventure and would bike somewhere else abroad ,but not Turkey
