What are the best Pazzo copy levers?

Looking to swap my levers to some well engineered aftermarket types like Pazzo or ASV or similar, but balking at the price of them.
I don't realy want china copies, you touch the levers all the time and i want that interface to be just right (like the Gilles rearsets

), so I am interested in what others have bought, and how they rate them in terms of quality and feel and price.

I have the cheep copy's on mine and they are very good .
Have a play with mine tomorrow at car park :-)

The only issue I have had with the Chinese copies is the anodised span adjuster lever, which is black, has faded to almost silver. However they perform perfectly other than that.

that's true mine was red now a little pink .
I will polish them in winter :-)

i think you'd only notice the difference if you had both types of lever side by side, i'm putting titax on mine but i think asv look the best.

If I can be bothered I was thinking of stripping out the little lever and having them black chromed as anything anodised seems to discolour badly. I have a couple of preload adjusters on my forks which have changed from black to a sort of chocolate brown/bronzey colour. It's not like we have been under the bleedin Arizona sun this year either!!

Look ok,work as well as they should I suppose, so far no fading of the red anodised adjuster, not the cheapest ones for sale on the Bay.

I went with the longer ones not the shorties. IIRC they were with me in just over a week from the Kong.

All in all you pays your money.

Had no problems with fit or function. Adjusters give a nice positive click. They do not come with the brass bush in the clutch side so don't forget to swap it over!

I couldn't decide on whether to get long or short levers and was not to keen on Hong Kong. I ended up buying these ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270921254352? ... 1497.l2649 which have an adjustable length lever. Also it is a UK seller.
They do look like Hong Kong copies to me and I suspect the seller is a middle man for them. They are getting clever and know people avoid Hong Kong listings!
As far as fit goes, I only fitted them last week. No problems but there is a little up and down movement. This I suspect could be improved with a washer placed in the pivot point, but overall they are satisfactory. I can't comment on wear and tear or discolouration as I haven't had them long enough. I have yet to extend the levers to long as I'm getting on with the shorties so well.

Looking good Carl.

The only caveat regarding aftermarket levers (mostly the copies from China) is that there have been some reported issues with fitment problems leading to the brakes coming on unexpectedly (and, as expected, leading to accidents from front wheel lock-ups). Just be mindful of this when fitting them.

Becareful you guys with these cheaper after market levers, I'm sure someone posted a link to a video (not that long ago) showing how one of these cheaper brake levers went right into the bars because the span adjuster had failed

Have managed to find titax levers at Â£49 each, but that is the lowest I can find so far, anybody seen them lower?
