Man I'm glad I posted that now!
Rob, you deserve the win mate.
A bike like that regardless of whether they class it as a "Hawk" or not deserves it for the sheer amount of work thats been done to customise it.
And let's face it, if it winds the yanks up all the better...

i just voted, not sure if i made it in time tho
i don't see it as a them and us thing, although it did come across as sour grapes that robs bike isn't a hawk. see it for what it is and great bit of craftsmanship and something that very few people would have the skill and ability to achieve that level of finish. i'd also like to say that gaggenau's (if thats how you spell it) should have gotten more votes, thats a very nice bike aswell.
i hope to be entering the competion in the next couple of months, i need to pull my finger out and get my bike finished first

went to a show at the weekend and came away with 'best Engineering' trophy.
that's the one to have, i think, that and best in show, which my mate won.
