Just wondering,
where can i get hold of a bike bench that lifts up & down (you know, the sort that you wheel the bike onto, and then jack up to a decent height)
only, i'm tight, and dont wanna spend a lot of money on one. especially cos i only want it for when i'm tinkering/cleaning etc....
anyone recommend any half decent cheap ones.....

There are some on
ebay at about £100. New, delivered to the door. Can't comment on how good they are, but the feedback is ok.

I have no idea about the price, but try Machine Mart, or MPS accessories.
Drink to contentment not to capacity. I just haven't figured out which comes first.

Just got the new M/C Mart catalog. They're £354.44 inc vat. They do ones which just lift at the mid point (probably the crank case) of the bike at £117.44. You could probably make one for less than £354.

been looking into this, might have to make do with paddock stands. Most of the cheaper ones do only lift from the engine casing. Not design for bikes with lower fairings....
(i'm not gonna take my lowers off evertime i use the darn thing)
Hey ho... cheers all for helping with the search...

I guess a low bench, a ramp and paddock stands is probably cheapest. Expensive if it falls off though!
