Bloody flies!
Bloody flies!
So there I was innocently riding back from the shops with my dinner in the tank bag when a huge fly decided it wanted to check out the inside of my lid!
Now, I've been riding for 18 years, 7 as a London courier, so I do know a thing or two about concentration!
However...
And this is what the front of the bike hit!
As a result I'm a bit sore, battered, bruised and a teeny bit pi$$ed off! My fault and I guess it's a bit of a hard way to relearn the art of concentration!!

Re: Bloody flies!
Been out on it today. It rides straight but the RH caliper had locked on until I hit it with a rubber mallet!
It will be fixed out of my own pocket as at the moment I'm only third party covered.
Just need to sort out some sort of headlight and I'll be fine until I can sort the rest out.
Feeling a bit sore tday but the main thing is that nothing is dented/broken outher than the bike and my pride!

Re: Bloody flies!
sorry to hear your bad news fella, if i can help i will.
i've got a spare headlight surround you can have for a £10 delivered, for a bit more i can throw in a spare slightly damaged o/s fairing(you should be able to make 1 good'un out of the two), say £20 for the pair.
here's a picture of the o/s fairing
i think i've taken the vinyl wrap off now....

Re: Bloody flies!
Fookin hell the bike took a serious battering there. Did the fly live The worst one is when a wasp or bee gets inside your lid and then then buzz's in your ear. I have had a few of them but have always managed to pull over quick sharpish and remove my lid. At least you have walked away from it.
