I'm currently staying in Guildford at the moment. So will be M25 round to M40 for me. So if we were to meet it would have to be at one of the services on M40. I can't think of any off the top of my head apart from Oxford.

reckon this is the way for me for an early blast

http://goo.gl/maps/Vm1f - meeting point at J11? I'm kind of thinking it may be best to head up the M40 from there anyway, make sure we get there in good time etc and head home on that route after

A bit Grim J11  There's a Holiday inn that may be a good meet up point there. I'm not sure the B roads will be faster, but certainly more pleasant. Yeh sounds like a plan to me. Just need to work out our timing's.

God I just looked at the day, not long now. I need to whip home and sort my tools and stuff out. Lets hope the weather is gonna be on our side for Saturday.

Weather forecast looking positive, and the garage is now cleaned and ready. also got the Gazebo for insurance against showers, so we are all set to go.

anybody needing a house number (there only is 12 houses on the street, so put the Post code into Google and you will get close enough to trip over us!) or a mobile contact, send me a PM, as I dont want to put them up on an open forum. See you all there from 9 onwards........but dont worry if you are late, it is a very flexible format and it only means you have to work outside, and if you have a lot of jobs to get through you will have to work through lunch  (well it might mean you have lots of help so we can all get out for a ride at the end).

See you all on Saturday

For those attending Saturday please make sure you put on your sunglasses before you turn up at amcq46 house .
As last year amcq46 thought he would show of his fleet of yellow monstrosities on the front drive for all to see .
Granted it made it easier to find his house . But it did make my eyes saw .

You have been warned :-) lol

 good point, there was a similar attempt at Grainstorm, thankfully the yellows were kept away from the action at the front for the neighbours to diss, aside from one iirc but that was shielded from public view by an anodine, bland and totally neutral silver jobby from Ipswich

Kev, I take it your hear rate is back to normal now, good news

I have got carb balance gauge, compression tester and a big syringe with tube attached.

some extra rags, seal driver and Vac pump [for bleeding brakes I assume] would be a good addition if you can pop them in you back pack

I have picked up my tools and stuff. So that's me sorted and ready.

Kev I have a carbtune with me, but if you have a screwdriver that will actually fit the pilot mixture screws with the bike running, that would be bloody handy. BTBH I doubt you have one that fits unless it's a home made jobbie or one of those clicky motion pro's imported from the states.

Summery of what I have packed
Abba stand adapters
Spare cheesy generator cap
Rail of 3/8 drive sockets
3/8 Rachet and extensions
Magnetic pick up tool
Allen keys and a couple 3/8 drive allens
Security torx
Screwdrivers
Pliers
10, 8, and 7mm spanners
Multimeter
And I got a couple of cans of carb spray (So don't worry about getting any Seb)
My new diaphragm springs
And my box of carb bits, jets etc.
A bit of Teflon grease and some rags (old T shirt)

I think that's about it.....

I could just use my head or the heal of my boot if I ever need a hammer. I have also been known to use the palm of my hand on occasion too.
