The Firestorm is now my commuting bike. 65 miles/day all road types from back lanes to motorway.

Fill up every other day and it takes 12.5-14 litres depending on how I ride/weather.

Won't get used all year round now though - 32+ miles when it's freezing is not fun even with heated grips.

Same as I used to use it no matter what the weather was what but now I just sub a work mate money for a lift in winter, costs me less than using the storm too, the storms not bad on fuel its just the 16ltr tank range that let's it down, it survives harsh winters very well does the storm providing you look after it and clean it and spray it, and in winter weather a V Twin offers a lot more feel that the inline 4 of the blade I know that sounds weird but will make sence to those that have tried both on cold winter roads

Absolutely agree, I ran my high comp pistons in during ice and snow and I honestly don't think an il4 would have made it.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
