does anyone sell mirror glass for the storm

strange that you can buy replacment mirror glass for practically any car but i tried to find replacement glass for my bike and not a chance, does anyone know if its sold and if so where can i buy it from, i'm in the process of modifiying a pair of standard mirrors with led side lights, but i'm having to use the mirror that got damaged in my recent spill, its fine except for the cracked glass, i've taken the damaged glass out and theres several little mounting points for fresh glass to fit onto, so surely you must be able to buy it, i suppose i could got to a glass shop and get some cut to fit but i reckon that wouldn't be cheap
can anyone give me a heads up on this....

I have never come across replacement glass for mirrors on bikes. Why not just replace the whole thing.

looks like i'm going to have find another mirror, its just a shame that the rest of the mirror i have (minus the glass) is in very good condition, seems crazy that you can't get a £5 replacement glass, when you take a mirror apart and see all its basic components, its a very simple design that looks like every piece is replaceable, i don't want to butcher the two excellent condition mirrors i have on the bike already, so i'll give a shout out in the wanted section for one.
and wicky thats a very clever trick, i'm tempted to get some mirrored glass and give it a go, but i'd probably rock it up and cut a finger off

good find wicky, i've just ordered it, worth a punt for £4.50..........
the only thing i have to be aware of is the vibrations popping the mirror glass out, but i'm sure i can figure something out....

flatline got a new mirror glass cut for me at a local glaziers, they used an old mirror as it was nice and thin and then fixed it into the housing. that was for my prev bike, but I'm guessing if your ebay find doesn't work it's worth a punt with a local shop. good luck

no probs, but I don't think it was expensive, about a fiver I think, so not too bad. I looked at modifying a car mirror glass, but they were about £6 so the glazier was a cheaper and better option (pretty sure I didn't pay flatty either, so much better ). hope you get it sorted, let us know how it works out.

Cut out a picture of a red one and stick it in the mirror casing, it's what you normally see when riding with one.
