Olympics

Post by slipper 1 »

Just watching the closing ceremony, I have to say I think the whole olympics has been very well done. I was one of the sceptics, thinking it would be a load of rubbish.
Glad to say I have been proved wrong. I might be Scottish, but proud to be British :D

Those drummers are good during the Kate Bush track.

I'm waiting for the fireworks to go off, so I can chuck some big bangs (rookies) out of my own without getting nicked.

Didn't see him as I'm glancing at the TV while on my laptop. I was gonna say Mac then, but had second thoughts

Looking for a photo now, but as I can't work out how to spell his name it is not proving easy....anyway he just presented the silver medal to the marathon runners..

yes very good, trouble was i missed the 2nd week cos ive been away on holiday .

not sure having george Michael singing is much of an advert for the uk, all i could think of was him hanging about in toilets and driving about wacked up on drugs. would much rather they got david bowie there in person . i am quite enjoying it though..

I thought of marty then too. Best place for the cabs as they got no extra work through the Olympics. Good to see the Spice girls all back together for a sing along.

Russel Brand can not sing. The Walrus was good, a bit of the White album there! Jesse Jay's costume was good and Brian May Rocked.

Roll on the the fireworks. :D

And I have had a drink too to celebrate
