Exhausts

any reason why 1998 original exhausts wouldnt fit a 2001 model
My bike has come with beowulf cans, with the originals in a box.....but the left hand one doesnt quite fit, which leads me to believe they are not the cans that came off the bike?
Any thoughts on the subject!?
Race cans arn't for everyone, all the time.

all the standard cans and headers are the same .
to get them to fit you need to loosen all the joints and wiggle them on then tighten .
