Someone somewhere posted some foam-overgrip type things they put on and that helped them apparently. Might be worth 'aving a look round?

Oh yer, and re sitting position, i've recently gone round europe on mine, i found that keeping your elbows bent and putting your feet on the pegs on the balls of your feet and tucking you knees in to the tank so you can hold yourself up with your sweet ripped stomach muscles helped the old 'fuzzy hands'. Forgive me if i'm teaching you to suck eggs but in the words of tesco, every little helps.
tried that suprised me helped relive some pain going to get some grip for tank though now dont want to scuff my tank that may be my problem being vain with it 8)

I posted a link ages ago to a BMW forum that told people how to ride sports bikes, they had just started to make them and people were suffering. To cut a long story short, sit like you are a gorilla with your back arched towards the front of the bike and push your chest out like you are trying to show off a new boob job! I kid you not that is what is said but in three pages.

I tried it, and together with taking the weight of my wrists, it worked, I had always ridden more upright bikes and the position took a little getting used to.
ill give that a try in morning see what it's like

Hi, purchased my storm a couple of weeks ago and numb/sore hands is my only complaint.
I fitted these risers to ease the problem...

I will add at this point they only ease the problem not a complete cure, for that i will try these next year,
they will need a re-profiled fairing though...

or..fit rear-sets and lower the sub-frame, feels as though my butt is to high whilst riding.

I've had this problem with every motorcycle I've had over the past few years since having HAVS condition. Fingers go numb even riding with just my palms on the bars especially if cold or if my hands get wet. Tried gel anti-vibration gloves and they worked a treat even on long journeys but I'm not happy with the fact that they're not proper armoured motorcycle gloves. I'm wondering if I can make or buy gel handlebar grips.

I get a carpel tunnel from time to time from too much time in front of a computer. Especially with the mouse on my desktop machine, it starts at the wrist and then works it way up to my elbows and if I push things it ends up travelling up to my shoulder. By then then I have to get off the computer and let it rest.
