High mileage VTR's

What is the highest mileage VTR out there? Ive seen one at 117,000 kms but there must be higer mileage ones than that?

(I just sold my old Black 98 model VTR last week with a gen 3650 kms on the clock!)

Ah yes, those biker moles from Mars with their low molage.

No point talking about the mileage on mine.
It's had so many different engines and other parts it's all a bit academic, really.
If I want it younger, I'll just change the frame to one I have on a later plate and fit a low-mileage set of clocks I have tucked away.

Mine has 38k and although I don't know what it felt like when new, it feels strong like bull!

I remember years back seeing posts from usa about vtr's with 100k plus miles and not even had to adjust valve clearances, so I wouldn't worry too much. Honda make the best engines in the world, bar none.

Agreed with the above. The VTR having such a low rev to power band the engine rarely gets stressed. If you do get it to 10K in the first 3 gears. The front tyre is near virticle & you will be hitting 120mph+ with another 3 gears to go.

My bike is up to over 180K km. It has received preventive maintenance along the way and I had the engine rebuilt 20 months ago (had 160K at the time and still ran like a top, no oil burning or anything) to bump it up to a full Stage 1 tune. It has been garage stored and still looks mint. Treat it well and it will be good to you for years to come.

As for me, I have no plans to ever sell it so who knows how high it will get......

just hit 90.000 ks got it when it had 32000 still pulls hard as and not showing any signs of slowing down i wont sell it cause there a top bike(pity there sale value is shite)then again maybe a spare storm if there cheap
