Blue Peters Tracy Island, one I made earlier obviously :-) in the front pot and on the rear I have good old Lego jammed up real tight, but don't worry it's red Lego the fast stuff!

Manuals are winning the poll (sorry no lego seb  ) I think manuals are great when the tension is set right. And they don't have to be adjusted regularly, only every 30 thou or something as the camchain does not wear/stretch fast. The trick is to get the right adjustment to start with. Too loose and there is going to be a bit of rattle and the possibility of slipping and too tight then that well add to wear and tear on bearings and things and put the engine under stress.

IMO it's best not to rely on feel (unless you have done loads and know what your feeling/listening for) but remove both the rear and front cam covers and measure the clearance precisely.
