You mean the little titanium caps/lipped washers for the clutch springs?
Why ask... sometime you just go to do it and find out?

I think the best thing to do is to wait and see if they actually make a difference first....

What's this, no faith in Mr Mon/Mr Man. :biggrin   I think he has it sussed personally. It makes sense and seems logical. Even if it does not solve the snagging it's an improvement on looks and quality.
I would also like to stick my name down for these also, when there is a batch. Especially as I'm intending on having a clutch cover window. They will look Snazzy

I don't now if you noticed but there is some interest over on the Superhaks site regarding the Alternator bungs. http://www.superhawkforum.com/forums/te ... nut-29007/

Bit tetchy over there aren't they... strangely enough I was thinking of making some with a hex on the inside of the larger bung (like the HRC item) and seeing what they look like/come out like... Thought they may be a little different but they will take longer to make etc...I may still just make a couple though as an experiment one day.

Now, Mr Mon has my full respect and confidence in the clutch grabbing scenario, we spoke about it a while ago and would dearly like to think he has cracked it after showing me the evidence of the spring marks and explaining the thoughts behind it... but it is his project... and his innovation that has gone into it all to find the current solution, I have just made the parts to test when he asked. Tony may want to have the parts made elsewhere and sell them himself as a item, I don't know. What I do know is that I will not be stepping on his toes with it all and start making and throwing them about without anything going through him... think it would just be wrong to do that. That was my current thinking about the wait and see because if it works, it is then Tony's call in my eyes as to what way he would want to proceed with it all.

Yeh I know, I was only having a wind up.

At the end of the day it's Tony's little project/testing and you obviously have to get the go ahead from him first. Patents and all that. He will be stuffing his face full of chocolate in Belgium at the moment, now there's a thought. So we will all have to wait and see. Also it's all in the final testing stages. They need to be fitted to another test bike first. He's got one in mind to try.

It shouldn't be long now folks. Hail the Mon, Hail the Mon :Worship: :kneel:
