Rear grab rail / handles

Hey, I've seen the Renntec grab rails available on eBay etc, but I can only find rear rails... eg

Anyone know of any side-mounted handles that fit a non-SP storm? I've spotted these but it looks like they mount where the pillion pegs do, and they'd be in the wrong place...

If not, anyone used these Renntec rails? Are they solid and worth getting?

i would ,nt mind a set of these type of things but i cant see where they would mount? dont think ive ever seen a storm with these on? (waiting to be proved wrong!)

I've seen a storm or two with side handles parked at the local bike meets, but I've yet to find the owners to ask about them!

I can't however remember how they were mounted or if they were custom / modified...

oic, ive only seen the rentec type ones which i believe are dead solid

I have a Renntec rack. I think that the rail attaches in the same way - a bracket goes into the end of the subframe then you mount the rail to that and the place where the rear plastics are bolted underneath the seat. IMHO I'd go the whole hog and get the rack.

these are of a VFR not the storm

I think you may be onto to something there Dragon. I have never seen side mounted handles for a storm. It looks like someone has made a mistake in the listing.
