So effectively the clutch is halfway out, then as you feed in more throttle it grabs.
That's exactly what happens during a fast take-off, but without you going forward.
Might be less risky to test it that way- I'll have a play.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Clutch Replacement
They look nice Seb and would be cool with a clutch window showing everything off. But they are alloy, that would wear double quick.

Re: Clutch Replacement
And if they are red they will turn pink in time lol
Re: Clutch Replacement
my thinking was that they fit inside the spring and would hold it like the ones tony had made exceot holing it inplace from the inside not the outside, if they are the right size that is?cybercarl wrote:They look nice Seb and would be cool with a clutch window showing everything off. Re: Clutch Replacement
They certainly look like they would hold the springs in place nicely. Are they the right size for the springs?
Nice find though fella.

Re: Clutch Replacement
No, they won't work as the heights of the spring compared to the centre post will be wrong.
Hold fire for a while, once the evaluation has been done we can see what can be made available.
I might just post a detailed and specced drawing so that people can make their own, assuming it all works ok.

Re: Clutch Replacement
My replacement clutch is starting to grab again now , not as bad as the 1st one, but still threatening to catch you off guard, so will be interested in these is they work.
