Resistor for mini indicators?

I have mini indicators on the back of my storm and standard on front so I bought and fitted a purpose built universal (supposedly) restrictor. Wired it up as per the instructions (simple enough). The result was front indicators flashing normally and rear ones not at all. So what went wrong?
At the moment I've reverted back to all four flashing fast.

I went down the resistor route when I went over to mini led idicators.
what a palaver, after alot of messing around and trying to get them to function properly, I ended up getting a relay from my local suzuki/kwasaki dealer.
sorted all the issues I had straight away, wish I'd gone down the relay route in the first place, instead of the resistors, the resistors seem to be very hit and miss.
And the relay was only 10.99

I would agree with with that. We fitted resistors on BSM's bike and they don't flash at the appropriate rate. They are slower but still too fast. It's far simpler to just fit an LED Relay.

About the only thing thing that is fast about it then....

If anyone wants a pair of brand new led's gimme a bell £30 in the shops but I will send them out £15 all in. They are one step up from the teeny tiny micro ones.

Definitely better off with a electronic flasher module. Resistors work fine though - had my back ones on for ages with resistors. The resistor need to be in parallel with the indicator (one for each) to draw the same current as the bulb. If I remember rightly I used 7ohm/30W resistors.

Easier and probably cheaper to buy a module.....
