There's a few nice ones on the Bay at the moment, some for silly money. The one in comrie up my way just looks the nuts.

what are these sp's like to live with? ie parts and servicing etc?

better than the storm as it has no ccts and fi .

I have never owned one so not sure, but I would have thought everything would be harder to come by with 2nd hand parts and generally more expensive. IIRC I think when Benny bought plugs for his SP2 they where like £20 each

But then it's all swings and roundabouts as it's not the sort of bike where one will be tinkering with all the time like a Storm.

not everyone like to tinker like us carl some people just ride it till it dies
and i think only benny rides his as it meant to be ridden
with the sp being a honda not much goes wrong with them if they are looked after .

Buying parts is not a problem as they are so damned reliable they dont need any lol, both my Sp's were ridden hard and all i ever replaced were serviceable items and tyres, which are no dearer than other bikes. With the exception to buying performance parts which were by choice.
Working on the bike was a dream too, i could strip the wheels and bodywork off in no time at all. Probably because HRC made it that way..

got a two year plan going down and looking at getting a bike slightly more up for my type of riding (hard as wombles) looking at all the fireblades, r1's etc and the vtr's sp's are more my type of bike. definately might look into getting one if the riding position isnt to cramped
