I am happy to change this if any one got a beter plan, but we need to lock in a time and a place before people set of friday eve.

I'll be there for about 9:30am on Saturday. If i'm not too knackered Friday after work, I might pop my head in but don't count on it.

I cant see much parking in the area, so looks like you have to park on the roadside, but unless we have some beter suggestions in the next 24hrs I have spotted a chippy called "the Promenade Fish Bar" on the side of the road in the middle of matlock Bath http://goo.gl/maps/Sw7NS, so this is our default meeting point between 12.30 and 1.30 on Saturday.

I am happy to change this if any one got a beter plan, but we need to lock in a time and a place before people set of friday eve.

would the train station be a good meeting point? I imagine it is sign posted in Matlock and appears to have a car park

It's on the A6, easy to find, petrol station, toilets, lots of parking and space. I've used it for meets before.

that could work, but we will still be stopping back down the road at the chipshop for lunch in Matlock Bath [not the same as Matlock] then get to Sainsburys in Matlock all fill up bikes have a piss and leave at 1.30 from there.

That means we wont need to fill up in the Mirco station in Bakewell, but as its on the side of the road anybody wanting to catch us there will still be OK, as you will a) text us so we will expect to see you there and b) you will hear us going past.

So the timeing for Saturday is:
Try to leave coalville at 10am, but knowing us it will be 11!!!!
Get to matlock BATH about 12 or 12.30 for fish & chips at the Promanade fish bar http://goo.gl/maps/Sw7NS
move up the A6 to Sainsbury's in Matlock: Cawdor Way, Matlock, DE4 3SP http://goo.gl/maps/4ixao. All bikes fill up and depart 1.30
Up A6 passing the petrol station in Bakewell if anybody is still waiting there [be there from 1.30 to be safe], then some nice B roads to Ladybower Reservoir and then up Snake Pass to Glossop.
Glossop back down to Buxton including Goyt Valley road.
Buxton to cat & Fiddle inn and stop there for tea / piss / fags......this will be mid afternoon
C&F down to Mac filling up in the Tescos then back along a nice B road to teh top of Goyt Valley again and back to Buxton.
Buxton to Ashbourn on the A515
then back to Coalville via Burton
