on the way home from work today on my storm, doing 60-70 just steady riding and this BMW GS catches me up and starts riding right up my butt and when i overtake a few cars he's right up my butt again, so i think ok doke and boom it and lose him for a second, then slow down again and he keeps doing the same thing?? by this point i'm thinking is this a copper trying to egg me on? so i just think fuk this and open her up, if it is a copper he can work for his ticket even then he tried to keep up with me but couldnt handle to pure power of the vvvvvvtwwwwwinn i lost him eventualy. and just as i pull up at my house i can hear him reving the tits out of his bike in the distance.
now is this me being paranoid? becuase theres hardly any police around by me and the chance of there being an undercover biker seems pretty slim but you never know??

I think he just wanted to hear the rumble of the storm lol .

I found that with newer riders they like to keep up with you as they can't read the roads yet .
But when they try to keep up down the bends they soon disappear lol

You don't want to be racing some numpty who'll brake in a corner, or misread the road, and have you both off

If he looks capable, then I'll generally have a play.

Sounds like someone trying to tease you into racing on the streets. But I would not let them follow you home as they could be eyeballing the bike and casing the place for a bit of bike thieving. There's some weird people out there, be street wise mate.

watched a few videos on youtube were the undercover copper on a sports bike was pretty much egging people on to race. one of them a bloak was doing 110ish on his gsxr on the motorway, and lets be honest isnt really much for a motorbike with a capable rider, and the copper was right up his ass, and other cars ass's trying to keep up, then he pulled the bike over and probably through the book at him.

i mean what a freakin joke this is, the biker isnt dangerous at all in my opinion, he seems a very capable rider. but watch the way the copper is driving, right from the begining he literaly swerves around a women on a push bike, he's right up cars ass's trying to keep up, and he nearly loses it on a bend?? i mean arent the traffic coppers being monitered? anyone can see the traffic copper in this is driving like a nob!

Not sure what you think the "undercover policeman" was going to do? If he was, and was going to stop you, he would have done.

I always ride my own ride i.e. how I would have ridden before a prick in a car or on a bike decides to "play".

well i didnt hang about to see if he was going to pull me over? usualy they try to get evidence dont they?

That footage is 13 years old. At the end of the day if that was a copper and he wanted to pull you he would have. It don't matter what bike your on or what he's on. With a motorcycle cops advanced riding skills they are going to catch you anyway. And if they can't they just radio in for help.

I doubt it was a copper, it was probably just some knob. If it ever happens again and it's bothering you, then just let them pass. As stratman say's "ride your own ride". Don't be intimidated by others.

yeh sappose, ive heared about these situations but never really been in one. i think your right, next time i'll just let them pass and try to keep up with them instead
