Tyre Pressures and Owners handbook

Can anyone give me any idea on tyre pressures, bike weight (std) + 100 kilos.

Also, where can I get an owners handbook, honda dealer, honda UK or should I just get the Haynes manual. I dont want it for anything major, just routine maintenance and I like to know where things are, what they are and what they do........last engine I worked on was a 2lt Ford Pinto over 20 years ago!! things have moved on and I have never owned or worked on a twin before.

Hi, 36 psi front and 40 psi rear. Bought my manual on cd rom from ebay, and has everything you could need. Was about Â£7.

Download the Honda workshop manual for the Firestorm from here. It's 102Mb, so broadband only, I'd say ;)

I'm still experimenting with air pressures. Here in the US the manual says 36F/42R. Wow, that seems high to me!
This bike already wants to wear out rear tires down the middle; 42psi can't help with that. If you go to the Metzeler website, they recommend 34F/36R. That makes a lot more sense to me. So I'm trying it out. So far I'm getting even wear on the rear (7/32in. currently evenly across tread). That's with commuting & a spirited 350mi. trip to Minnehaha Springs, West Virginia (I can verify, there's nothing there)!
What are your thought & experience with air pressure for the Super Hawk?

Check with your tyre manufacturer, they should have their own settings for the pressures.
I am currently running Michi Hi-Sports, 36 rear, 32 front I think, this was advised when I had then fitted last year. IMHO the manufacturers settings are far too hard, bike handles alot better with the tyre manufacturers pressures.
