Re: pillion
ride slow till they get used to it
make sure they know not to lean against the bike .
take regular stops
up the preload on the bike
and remember your braking will be slower .
have a system like tap on the shoulder if they want to stop .
also they will head but you every time you go off the throttle or brake so be ready for that .
and have fun

Re: pillion
I have a tap system with the missus.
If I tap her leg it means hold on... aka I'm fed up with these cars in front and the moment we clear the next corner I'm going for it.
Quite often it won't be clear on the other side of the bend, so she's been told not to get lulled into a false sense of security, that I'm warning her of what I'm planning, and to always make sure she has a good grip.
Oh, and make sure she uses the grab strap (assuming you haven't lost it), it'll save your crown jewels being crashed against the tank every time you brake!
Good luck and have fun.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: pillion
Dammit, why didn't I think of that?
Re: pillion
You would be wise to fit some tank grips as your nads will not be happy every time you break hard

Re: pillion
Not had a pillion on in a few years but the head butts really got on my nerves, i also used some kind of pillion love handle strap thing for them to hang on to much better grip for them,
Tape some thin foam to the back or your helmet will stop it from getting chipped if you have a pillion with a weak neck under braking

Took one of my ex girlfriends on the back of my VFR once, fitted with intercoms. Forgot it was her first time went round a bend a little too quick and got some serious lean on, all I could hear was screaming until we were back on the straight. On the good side intercom was very clear!
