Auto Painter in leyland

Been quoted 60 quid a tank and 35 per wheel, seen this guys work and it's superb not to far from UPS in Leyland he's done a few of the lads cars and just done a paint match respray on a VXR
Left his card at work, doh but will put his details up on Tuesday

Looks like I will finally get my repsol tank redone and orange wheels to boot :-)

Got the guy's number saved cant remember his bloody name now

not used him yet he's just done another car kit for a mate and that looks fab, seen a car he repaired that drove into a skip (reversed) same bumper and boot and you wouldn't know there had ever been a crash

when i get paid i will be getting stuff done, will get his name and number again on Monday off my mate Wayne as he's calling him again for work after the car he had back for a week or so he just drove it into burger kings drive through, as in crashed into it!!

I keep looking for a light weight wheel for te rear mate, given that the 954 wheel on the front is so much lighter than the stock One and a little lighter than a 929 is like to try and find some wheel that will fit in the rear that's lighter than standard. Would a 954 rear fit the swingarm? Suspect I would need to use different bearings or a different spindle if it does wish I had checked that out before I sold my 954 rear when I got the set.

Dragon managed to get a Blade rear on, well not him, his mechanic. I think some spacers where made up for it to fit. http://vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php ... 29#p221324 He's got some better pics somewhere but I can't find the thread.

Just picked up my wheels- bloke, Tim, who owns an engineering place in Beverley charged me £50 a wheel plus the bike garage removed & refitted bearings & valves- for £26.99. Good job!
